so it has been forever...

It feels like I've been hibernating for the past few months...new job, a lot of pressure, not enough time. I did no touch my glass for months. But I'm ecstatic to have spent my weekend flameworking again. I'm guessing the beginning of spring has inspired me. Unfortunately, JustBeads website has been down for a few months now. My only outlet is my Etsy store. I have a couple of new things up...

Lots of jewelry

I've been making a lot of jewelry lately. I'm surprised with the wonderful success I had with my Etsy store. It's really cool.

Pretty ribbon necklaces...

So today I finally got around to listing some of the silk ribbon necklaces I've been making. I love the way the ribbon colors go with the colors of glass. Here's a picture of another one... it's called Gypsy :)

completely remodeled website...

After careful consideration, I decided to change my website...again. This time it was a complete overhaul, and I just uploaded all files tonight.

On the artistic side, I have been playing with silk ribbons and having fun making components for them. I made a glass pendant with a hook to dangle a second bead from it. I think it came out pretty decent. Lots more to come!
